The city has been a market Center for wine, fruit, and vegetables for some time.
The Philippines, being a country archipelago of islands and seas, have naturally wonderful beaches, some of which are famous the world over.
Beaches like Puerto Galera, Boracay, and the various beaches in Cebu rake in tourists from around the world all year round because of their pristine and cool blue waters and fine, white-sand shores.
We were there in April 1966 for the first attack on TSN where all three of our Blue Eagle aircraft were damaged on the flight line. I returned for three more flight tours 1967 - 1969, but these were flying airborne PSYOPS radio broadcast missions for SOG out of Da Nang, although I frequently visited our main offices at TSN.

However, if one will just look around more, they will find that there are other less-known but equally beautiful beach spots in other parts of the Philippines.
