Arya Stark is travelling on horseback through a wood when she stumbles upon a group of soldiers. There, she sees Sheeran, midway through singing a campfire song (that features in the books) and turning around for a not particularly subtle close-up.
"We got really hammered and took our shoes off and danced on his lawn and then jumped in the pool," Sheeran revealed.
"And then the next day I was like, 'that's a cool story,' so I put it in a song." Watch Ed Sheeran explain how it all went down in the video here.
Many followers praised the Castle On The Hill star for 'absolutely smashing' his headline set, while others complained Ed hadn't been worthy of the slot.
Now, Ed himself has responded to his critics - that had seen him accused of 'miming' playing a guitar up on stage.
Although his feed - which boasts 19.1million followers - remains open, he has stopped posting on it and only shares pictures which he uploads to his Instagram., he explains: 'I’ve actually come off Twitter completely. But that’s why I’ve come off it.'The head-f**k for me has been trying to work out why people dislike me so much.'The singer adds that he relies on his family and friends to keep his feet on the ground, rather than online trolls.
